As Analytics is broadly defined as finding right actions from the raw data with the help of knowledge it can help every domain and application including elections.

As we are seeing now Data is everywhere and available in the form of open data, in house data, we can use analytics on top of these and provide the insights as well as action plans.

With open data, we can understand the past elections(patterns) and with in house data we can understand the voter feedback and from social media data we can understand the s sentiment of the candidate as well as party. Etc.
